The Sale
Cosabella, an Italian luxury lingerie brand has been acquired by Crown Brands Group, a global brand management company from the Swiss-listed Calida Group
The Split
Just like with Hanky Panky — another intimate luxury brand Crown acquired in December, 2025 — Cosabella’s operations will be split between specialized licensees.
As Crown's operating partner and intimate apparel licensee, Rafar Group (Rafar) will lead product design, development, e-commerce operations and distribution for the main lingerie product line.
While Dreamwear — another partner, will design and manufacture Cosabella's lifestyle products, specifically sleepwear and loungewear.
The Signal
With different parts of the business now handled by different operating partners, Cosabella will need to separate from its previous systems while connecting new ones. That means rebuilding parts of its e-commerce, data, and supply chain operations around a new operating model.
Here are the hiring signals I'd be watching.
Platform Migration & Multi-Storefront Integration
Moving to new systems and storefronts is likely to create demand for:
E-commerce Solutions Architects
Shopify Plus/Enterprise Developers
Systems Integration Managers
Supply Chain Data & Fulfillment
Splitting operations across different partners and fulfillment hubs increases the need for people who can keep inventory, orders, and customer data in sync.
Roles to watch:
E-commerce Operations Leads
ERP Data Analysts
Logistics Coordinators with experience in multi-node fulfillment and omnichannel Order Management Systems (OMS)
International E-commerce Localization
Crown plans to expand Cosabella's digital presence using its existing footprint across France, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, and the Nordics.
Running a global direct-to-consumer luxury brand means adapting the online experience for different markets, from payments and compliance to language and local customer expectations.
Roles to watch:
Cross-Border E-commerce Managers
Localization Engineers
Specialists in global payments, compliance, and international duties
